But the fact is, you could look up any vehicle ever used by the military, be it airborne, on land, at sea, etc, and you'd be able to find a list of crashes. I've gotten to ride in a few Chinooks, and they're not bad. The Chinook has been the bigger workhorse bird of the U.S. military since its inception, and it's proven itself worthy of the designation far more often than not.
