A real sandwich.

 A real sandwich.

As promised, here is what a real sandwich looks like, not that so called “superior” sandwich posted earlier.

  3. It looks like red peppers…..and big chunks of goat cheese. That would make sense since it also looks to have alot of Italian style meats.

  4. The sandwich is on a full loaf of Italian bread (this one is different from the norm as the only fresh Italian bread at the store was the Italian with cheese, but it was good). I then added an entire tomato, an entire onion, lots of spinach, roasted red peppers (the red stuff tiki), large slices of homemade mozarella, and then a half pound each of genoa salami, pepperoni, and capicola. Add basalmic vinegar and olive oil in copious quanties and that is the finished product.

Unfortunately, the veggies are from the market as it is far too early to use the ones from my garden (a late summer/fall deal) and I was too lazy to make my own bread, despite the new recipe I want to try.

Next on the sandwich menu will be something with pesto and maybe with goat cheese since wookie_x mentioned it. Not sure what yet.

  6. I’m guessing the cheeze is Mozarella. They usually come in those balls.
