Shouldn’t it be..terraformation?
April 7, 2008 at 12:50 am
That’s really quite remarkable.
April 7, 2008 at 6:01 am
Its amazing that we already have the technology to imagine such stuff.

it is a very very interesting post. imagine that
WE WOULD BE THE ULTRA HIGH TECH ALIENS TO THEM
WE COULD ENSLAVE THEIR RACE HAHAHAHAHAHHA

Who knew it was that easy!

@Shanghai_Factor
I couldn’t figure out how to modify “terraform” while drunk, so I went with transformation.
April 7, 2008 at 8:51 am
wow, in four easy steps!
April 7, 2008 at 9:53 am
They forgot to show step five, where is is barren rock again. After a while the atmosphere would leak away due to the low gravity and the burning or cellular brakedown of all the vegatation by the sun’s ultraviolet rays because there is no magnetic field to shield them from it.

It would take millions of years for an earth like atmosphere to escape from Mars, and some people would say it would be worth it. But gor is right, lack of a magnetic field make terraforming Mars a no-go.

Ooh. How about that. MCS actually taught me something I didn’t know.
((Planet – Magnetosphere) != Earth2)
April 7, 2008 at 11:51 am
Don’t you think a society with the technology to completely transform the entire surface of a planet might be able to do something about the magnetosphere?
Also: this looks ‘shopped to me.
April 7, 2008 at 12:12 pm
or maybe we just make super dooper plants that soak up the UV that would be hitting the surface?
and then we send in The Core team and kick start the rotation.

New Mars: brought to you by Starbucks and Wal-Mart.

We should nuke the place now…. before THEY enslave US! Either that or colonise it
