A student had scooped up a handful of chalk dust from the blackboard eraser tray and put it in an envelope. He wrote "$200" on the outside of the envelope; I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a cocaine joke, or if it was just to get someone to look inside. He then left it next to a doorway by a friend's locker, hoping the friend would find it. Instead, a teacher found it and freaked out. The entire school was evacuated, a hazmat control tent was put up,and 12 people went through a decontamination shower for exposure to chalk dust. The boy got found out, and the police were talking about trying to make the parents pay for their incredible overreaction, and considering pressing charges against the boy. I thought my story was good; When I was in highschool they called poison control, isolated me in a hazmat truck, sealed off half the campus all because I broke a thermostat with a basketball accidentally in the gym during P.E. and got spewed with mercury. It was taken away and blown up safely. Poor guy lost his bike over it. Apparently that's the name of a band or something but still- Terrorists are not going to label their bombs, "bomb," not gonna happen.
