I loved “Calvin and Hobbes” and it’s my son’s favorite since he was 8 (now 11). I get the impression, through, that Watterson is one of those introverted artistics types. He seems to have pulled a ” Howard Hughes” and disappeared while making money from his past efforts.

I give Watterson great respect for what he did. Hadn’t he done it C&H would have turned into yet another Garfield or Dilbert by now.
