I’ve know many Marines, and they’re not as dumb as their minimum required IQ (78) would suggest. Besides, they have they longest range at which they have to be accurate to, so the point bit would be second nature.

Well idk if any of you are military, butt any type of eqp or weapon used by marines is made to be very very simple. like these load, point, and shoot.

Unlike what you have learned from movies and video games, all weapons must be aimed prior to firing, else you don’t hit shit.

A weapon that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per unit DEFINITELY needs to be aimed prior to firing.

Little known fact but the real battlefields is just like Team Fortress. All soldiers are armed with rocket launchers, and combat engineers actually build auto-turrets. You just never see them.

SMAW (Shoulder-launched multipurpose assault weapon) is what they are holding, minus the rocket tube that clips onto the back http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoulder-Launched_Multipurpose_Assault_Weapon
