I heard somewhere that, as a joke, one of the soldiers put a sign on a door that says “Stargate Command”. The door is to a broom closet.

Isn’t that facility closed now? I read somewhere (maybe Gateworld) that they only kept it open while Stargate SG-1 was still running, and finally closed it after it got cancelled. Now THAT’S TV having an impact on real life!
