Epic disappointment. I saw The Matrix a dozen times in the theater. The other 2, eh, not so much.

The writers totally used up all their ideas on the first one. I mean who the heck think Albino’s are actually cool?

I dunno. I liked the second matrix, it had no plot obviously but very few Hollywood movies do. So they just went berserk with the video effects. They still look good today. Except when Morpheus pulls out a Green backlight LCD samsung phone with a monochrome screen.

The second one had some plot, the third one was like watching someone else play video games.

First 20 minutes of the movie:
“You can’t leave the train station.”
    20 minutes later
“You can leave the train station.”
    WTF?

Actually I don’t think it was intended to be cool, as much as a metaphor. The Matrix employed Matrix “glitches” or “Rogue programs” to describe what would have been perceived as “paranormal” activity by the residents of the Matrix. The twins were intended to be the digital analogue (if there is such a thing) of ghosts, and the albinism was intended to be a salient indicator of that.

All of the Matrix movies were worthless pieces of trash, I still can’t believe that I watched the first one and now i have to go slam my testicles in a car door for remembering that little fact
