I lock blocky Transformers, and apparently I like blocky guns. Dead sexy.

a drunk with a gun…how typically American. go for it!

I know little about the Steyr handguns, but I’m a big Walther fan. PPK or PPS for concealed, though the p99 is nice too.

      fuck a handgun …get a howitzer!

forget the howitzer …fuck a whore!

I own a Steyr M40 and can shoot this thing all day long. I love the angle of the grip, but the sight is triangular and will take some getting used to. I sold my glock 27 to pick up the Steyr. It also comes in a 9mm and I think and 357 caliber.

Springfield XD .40 is pretty rad. It shoots well and looks good doing it. Buy it from Sportsman’s Warehouse, its like $100 cheaper there than anywhere else. Just concealment kicks, pick up a Walther P22 from Wally World (Wal-Mart), those are a bargain at $230.

      I’ve got a SIG Sauer SP2022 and a Ruger GP100 in .357 mag that I like a lot.

Dunno much about Steyr outside of their AUG rifle, though.

My advice would be to find a gun range that rents them, and shoot it before you seriously consider buying it.

What the hell do you need a gun for?

Great. More gun porn for the Tiny Dick Brigade…

Nice modern looking handgun. I have 2 Walther p99’s; .40 and 9mm The grip is by far the mose ergonomic i’ve ever felt. The grip on this Steyr has similar finger placement. Strongly recommend the p99 for the ambidextrous magazine release under the trigger guard. Great firearm for lefty’s. Not a whole lotta support from holster manufactures however. Bond uses a few p99’s in a later movie.

    13. Vote -1 Vote +1LukeV1-5 (UID#1029)

How many of you have ever needed a gun to shoot anything beyond paper targets and cans?

    14. Vote -1 Vote +1Tony (UID#373)

I used to not like guns, until I came in the military. I only shoot to qualify, so that means I’ve only shot about 6 times in my life (I’m Air Force). But the more familiar I become around them, the more interested I am. I can see now how it can just be a hobby for some people.

“lol, but Grim N’ Dark 40k doesn’t kill anybody!” – True, but guns are a part of our history and they are romanticized in films and tv (find an action movie without a gun in it). To blame the gun enthusiast for gun crime or the deep roots the gun has in our culture is stupid and wrong.

Sociopaths are to blame for crime. Not hobbyists and responsible owners. It just so happens that we also have a lot of crazy fucks in this country as well.

So what you’re saying is…….we kill all the crazies…..and eat their livers.

It’s a pity they’re the ones with the guns.

Guns don’t kill people: people WITH guns kill people.

    17. Vote -1 Vote +1JoeCrow (UID#441)

The Brits shot too many people and got their guns taken away, Then bitch about How we enjoy guns.

Not To mention, Whose fault is it That we had to write a constitution to allow us to carry Firearms, Anyway?

    18. Vote -1 Vote +1Tardex (UID#2119)

Are you freaking kidding me? Dont wast your stupid goddamn money on a firearms! Spend on something actually worthwhile and useful!(sorry to say but,) Idiot.

      the SIG-SAUER P226 is neat.
i don’t like the look of those guns like the glock18 or waltherP99 because of their plastic body (cover) in contrast to the iron slider. that somehow looks like a toy to me.

The Steyr is a wonderful pistol. Functional and innovative sights, great feeling grip, not to mention very balanced feel. Probably one of my favorite guns.

    22. Vote -1 Vote +1Gilly (UID#734)

Buy a BB gun. You can actually shoot people with it!

    23. Vote -1 Vote +1st_judas (UID#818)

My preference is the SIG-Sauer. I have 2; a P229 for home, a P239 for concealment, both are in the .40S&W caliber as is the Steyr depicted here. I far prefer the sturdiness of the SIG over the common polymer framed pistols. I also think it contributes to a nicer balance, which allows for more control when shooting it rapidly.

Also, the full name of the company that makes the Steyr firearms is “Steyr Mannlicher”…
      /just sayin’

    24. Vote -1 Vote +1st_judas (UID#818)

I should add that the Steyr would be my 2nd or 3rd choice if I weren’t a SIG man. ;) They have a very good reputation for reliability and accuracy.

    25. Vote -1 Vote +1RepairmanJack (UID#204)

If you would study early American Politics, such as reading the Federalist Papers, or the philosophy of natural rights you would understand why I buy guns. Also the episode on Gun Control, from the show Penn and Teller Bullshit! is another good one.

Owning a gun for me is practicing my rights, and a form of security from my government and the people that are willing to take my property.

    26. Vote -1 Vote +1RepairmanJack (UID#204)

Oh, and any Springfield XD is a quality gun. I love the XD 9mm and .45 ACP.

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.” -Thomas Jefferson

LOL, yeah quote a Mason then forget that these Guns will not be killing Patriots or tyrants, but your Friends, family, systers and brothers….

But then again, as long as we’re complaining about gun control, they can keep on screwing up the economy…
