this anime is the win. Although I never understood it. I ultimaly figured that the creator just threw in a bunch of kick-ass symbolism that didn’t mean anything.

Too much symbolism about teenage angst and sexual awakening combined with oriental holistic theories. Kinda heavy.
I always hoped that the penguin would survive instead of whatshername at the end.

End of Evangellian is one of my favourite movies.
It’s pretty much the only anime I like.

Well there are some real symbols used in NGE, in The End Of Evangelion just before the big eye explosion the EVA series expand their anti AT-Fields in the order of the symbol of The Horizon Of Eternity, Search @ Google for “ten divine names”
