Is it strange that when I first looked at that map, the first county I saw was Licking?
February 22, 2008 at 3:19 pm
I did too… I think our minds are just wired to seek out the licking.

Why is there a Miami there? Odd coincidence?

It’s an extremely ‘busy’ image so your eye went to the rough middle and saw the easiest to see thing there. That, or you need to get laid.

Lived in Morrow county for 5 long years. Very rural — no taverns, lots of churches. Lots of drinking & teenage pregnancys, though.

I live in Franklin county now after living in Champaign for years and both are equally boring. I think Clark is by far one of the worst ones and apparently has a lot of people with AIDS there. From what I’ve heard anyways. Ftl.

Which ones have Cleavland and Canton and Akron and (I’m guessing) all the other counties in Ohio?
I’ve spent some time in Cleavland and it was the dirties, most disgusting city I’ve ever been in. It’s like living in human filth. I spent more time in Canton and it wasn’t so bad, except that it was poor and depressing and everyone had a family member who had committed suicide and ten more family members who ran the fuck away. Pretty fireflies though. Still, Ohio is got to be a serious depressing place to live.

Cleveland’s in Lorain and Cuyahoga – Akron is in Summit county. I was born and raised there; every time someone would call Akron, “The Rubber Capital of the World”, the room would go quiet. Nobody laughed. Because making a joke about condoms when you live in such a depressing, industrial soot-covered Eden, just isn’t funny.
Oh, that was way back when people called condoms “Rubbers”, and many of our car tires were manufactured in Akron, Ohio. There. I ruined the joke even more by explaining it. That’s how bad Akron was. Though I’d go back just for a Skyway hamburger.

Darke County contains a town called Arcanum. I wonder what the local gamers make of that…

Cleveland proper is in Cuyahoga, some Lorain cities claim to be suburbs of Cleveland.
The actual city of Cleveland is pretty much a dump in most areas, some are okay, the suburbs like Cleveland Heights, University Heights, and Shaker Heights are actually pretty nice.
Columbus ain’t too bad, I just wouldn’t walk around at night.
Oh, and Cedar Point is in Ohio.

Miami was an Indian tribe that was local to that particular area.

I live in Cleveland, grew up in Lorain (city of, inside county).
Cleveland is not even near Lorain county. It’s in Cuyahoga.
I drive at least 20 minutes on 480/80 before I even reach the border of the two counties.
Also, I really love living in Ohio. I didn’t like the particular place where I used to live, but where I’m at now is great. Also, Cedar Point fucking rocks.
