Must be taken in Vancouver. They throw people that DON’T smoke pot in jail there.

What are you on about? The mounties are going after grow-ops out here all the time. That’s pretty much all they do, really. Possession is a vague issue atm and the police say they’ll still file cases with the minister of justice, but we’re really waiting for a Supreme Court decision, as various cases will be hitting them in 2008/2009.

As far as I can tell, people smoke up in Van just about as much as they do in Calgary, that is, way less than in the small towns.

Dude, relax. I was being silly (half the comments I write on here are just nonsense). Out here in Ontario, some people (that have never been to BC) think you all sit around and smoke pot all day (while hugging trees). When a friend of mine moved out there, the first thing he did was mail me a picture of him hugging one of those big tree’s you have. And I think he moved there FOR the BC Bud (I’m sure he’d deny it).
