    1. I don’t think I’ll ever forget thanks to you, tiki.

    2. i think we’ve seen enough about this incident, thank you.

everyone likes making fun of the authorities for taking everything too seriously because everyone likes to think they’re an individual and not “conforming” to them. but everyone ends up being an asshole, anyway. i’m in no way blaming Adult Swim and saying they shouldn’t have done it, but why doesn’t it fill people with confidence that authorities respond to everything rather than seizing an opportunity to criticize. i live in boston and i’m glad it was taken seriously, because i know it means they do take everything seriously.

so i think everyone should shut the fuck up.

    3. still funny to watch from kansas though.

    4. I’m no conspiracy theorist, yet there HAD to be signs pointing to 9-11. This ‘incedent’ is your prescious authority’s knee jerk response to something they don’t understand, and henceforth must be dangerous. I rue the day when signs to an actual threat are overlooked, yet signs to a frigging movie are reacted to in this manner. I’m all for authority, when it has the capacity to think and react intelligently. Just haven’t quite encountered it yet.

    5. I just think it’s funny, really. But if you want to take it seriously, I think it’s a problem when official, tax-supported intelligence is so out of touch with the culture it’s supposed to be protecting that they can’t even recognize it.

    6. Ask your parents about the popular bands/groups/singers, they won’t have any clue, unless you bore them with that shit day in and day out. Anyone over a certain age (say 35?) who watches Cartoon Network and knows what Aqua Teen and Adult Swim are is probably some stoner tard who lives in the basement of his parent’s house. I blame whoever reported this up the chain TO the government in Boston, not the authorities who over-reacted. Also, LordPartyTime, there probably were signs pointing to *something* happening on (or around) 9-11, but without violating the civil rights of terrorists, probably no way to exactly pinpoint exactly what the threat was, so how do you appropriately react to something like that?

Also, I think that at some point SOMEONE would have said “Uhh, yeah, this is a popular cartoon character thing, no cause for alarm.” Watching this made me know I had to move away from Hawaii, in case something did go down, I’m not stuck on some island.

    7. i don’t think recognizing some stupid ass thing from something so stupid as cartoon network is being out of touch with the culture. in fact, i’m GLAD they didn’t know what it was at first. I like the way schulzbrianr put it: “Anyone over a certain age (say 35?) who watches Cartoon Network and knows what Aqua Teen and Adult Swim are is probably some stoner tard who lives in the basement of his parent’s house”

to be honest i think it’s a little sad if anyone over 21 would watch it, but that’s just me…
