And I agree. There really isn’t any reason to Americanize it. In fact I’d thinks that many of the the culture specific subtexts would actually make it more humorous to the average American viewer…

Then again, we are talking about the average American viewer…

They realize they can’t replace the original Moss.

Problem is, why Americanize it at all? It works just fine as it is. There’s gotta be a ton of money to be made in the process of Americanization alone.

Stolid is dumb.

They have finished 2 season are working on a third, and they are also filiming an americanized version of the show which also happens to include the same actor playing Moss.
