    I still fail to see why these are illegal all over the place… Its not like a fixed blade is slower than an automatic…

    I think you fail to see that this is not a normal automatic knife. It’s a spring-loaded blade launcher.

    There’s something to be said for the suprise factor.
    If being attacked by a guy with a gun, and you produce a knife, he’s going to be caught offguard if it launches at him, and punctures his heart.

    yeah but the heart is a prety small target to hit with a knife blade and if you miss your going to get shot anyways

    It works, I saw Thomas Jane use it in “The Punisher” and I believe it came from one of the comics.
