It’s a damn shame that the Soviet Union crumbled, at least then we knew who our enemy’s were. And they did have style.

Downfall of the Soviet Union was not a shame. A country that big and powerful without a working democracy is a huge magnet for psychopaths and criminals. It was a superpower with a huge nuclear arsenal led by maniacs. It’s a fucking miracle that Gorbachev ever became a general secretary.
They did have capable industrial designers, though.
