All jet planes should be forward wing. Just to scare their enemies. because that looks badass.

Its real. SU 47 if im right. Badass. Actually the forward wing jet is superior in maneuverability to a back facing wing design. The only problem is that the stress is too great for normal materials like aluminum and so on. Thanks to modern composites were gonna see a lot more planes like these.

I did some investigating on my own, but thanks slak =) ==> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhoi_Su-47

Planes like that are more agile and can be faster, but with the agility comes increased instability. It requires computer control just to fly it. I’m not sure I’d have that much faith in it.

You’re aware that every military jet made since the 80′s is 99% fly by wire, right?

Are those Su-37 chase planes, or just Su-35′s? It would be interesting to see a Su-37 go up against a F-22

Everyone who did not already know about this plane and why it is Awesome, Needs to crawl into a hole and ignore the rest of the world of aviation.

Too bad the F-22 is a stealth fighter. It might’ve been a fair fight…

nothing says stealth like urban camo at 20,ooo ft.

Su-47 is stealth to an extent as well
Russia gave up on stealth planes, in favor of planes that are better in a dogfight.
BTW- those are Su-27′s I think, 32 was the massive fighter-bomber, and 35 and 37 both have canards, with the 37 having the addition of thrust vectoring.
