Its designed to take advantage of new network technology being incorporated into all facets of the armed forces. If your computer reckons its friday but the one sending you information reckons its saturday there are all sorts of conflicts that arise from this sort of error. It probably won't shut down the engines or put you at great risk but it certainly won't allow the aircraft to operate at 100% efficiency!! But then again, i personally reckon this is one of the most superb aircraft out there, probably why America won't release it to anyone :P Well, it affects it cause your talking about one of the most technological planes around.

Apparently Lockheed Martin built the most powerful fighter ever created but forgot about the international date line.
