Pursued by….Phantoms? What are those other ships? They look like phantoms….and yet they are green…
They’re not being pursued by them, they’re working in concert with them, in halo 3. At the end of halo 2, the brutes take the place of honor from the elites. So, in halo 3, the elites are working with the USNC in the goal of stopping the ‘prophets’ from activating the halo rings and ridding the galaxy of food for the flood, which is to say all forms of sentient life.
That looks a lot more like a flotilla than a fleet. Let’s get our military terminology right, hmm?
