    So, why hasn’t the Lantern Corps offered Bruce a position? (Not that he’d take it, of course…)

    And Comic nerds out there?

    Perhaps because Bruce Wayne does whatever he wants, not what others tell him to do. The one thing the Guardians of Oa prize above all else is obedience to their will. Wayne wouldn’t be a “good little soldier”.

    The Sinestro Corps tried to recruit Batman because of his ability to inspire fear.

    Now THIS would be completely off the chain. The Lantern Corps couldn’t do much better than the Batman. He’s already freakin’ unstoppable. And he’s still only human. Imagine what he could do as a Green Lantern. Unfortunately, he never was much of a joiner…
