    A Paperclip and a rubber band does not have the strength to launch a flaming pencil onto a giant spider/goblin thinger. Ive tried it too many times, and I get angry every time I see that part.

    Perhaps you weren’t using the industrial strength paperclip and rubber bands that mogwai had at his disposal… :P

    And why would you try to reconcile something that happened in a gremlin movie with real life? That’s just asking for heartbreak… LOL
