I love how they did the joker. Just psycho in clown make up.
Like the way he looks or not, what will make or break or break the Joker is how well he is portrayed. If Ledger is as good as the other cast members say he is, then I look forward to a very creepy Joker. C’mon! Look at him! The very least you can say is that he sure does look scary. I like it.
You hold a point. He looks the part but can he do it? We shall see.
Also, I don’t really have a problem with the Bat-armor. The comics have depicted Batman and the villains in a broad spectrum of interpretations, from campy to gothic to gritty to supernatural… for me, Batman’s new film armor is easier to accept in that context. We’ll shall see.

I know a lot of people may think the 1989 Batman film was cheesy, but I personally loved the way Jack Nicholson played Joker. Needless to say he’s going to be the basis for comparison for me here.
Wow, they never could get Batman’s had right. It has to me sleeker, and with white eyes.

I think it’s amazing that you don’t even recognize him as being Ledger, he just looks like the Joker and I’m glad that his portrayal was something memorable.
