    1. I hate when people put soy cheese on things and it still has casein. Fucking hate it.

    5. Just don’t eat frozen food at all. It’s ALL nasty shit.

Read “Omnivore’s Dilemma” by Michael Pollan – a GREAT book and a real eye opener.

Jeebus, what has this country come to??

    7. Read closer, young padawan.
      “No Fat, Soy Cheese” “Vegetarian”

That’s what this country has come to.

    8. Mmm, soy cheese. Like rubber mixed with plastic only with a worse flavor.

    9. Any vegetarian that eats this shit is lying to himself.

There is good soy cheese out there, this sure as hell doesn’t have any.

    10. I don’t know what a padawan is and I’m not sure what you’re trying to say….. that this shit is good for you???

    11. Meh, they’re just store brand Bagel Bites. They’re probably okay, but the “All Natural” bit seems highly unlikely.

    12. If you’re using ‘store brand’ as ‘generic brand of the store this is sold out’ I do believe you’re wrong. This company makes some pot stickers and spring rolls that are absolutely delicious and some vegan chicken-free-chicken products that are sub-par but bearable. I’m slowly trying to work down my soy intake, though. Its hard when some of this stuff is actually really, really tasty. Just not much from that particular company.

    14. I always thought bagels are ring-shaped.

    15. So did I… But…the mass produced food propagandist will have you believe they’re flat and covered with soy cheese taste.

    16. I understand vegetarians that don’t eat meat. But not eating cheese and milk? WTF? It’s not like the cow dies from milking.

    17. I am a die-hard meat eater, but prefer veggie sausage. Less greasy and tastes better.

Of course, Moose sausage is the best. Anyone ever had it?

eggy, you don’t know what a padawan is? Please tell me you were joking.

    18. Yeah…I’m not really a Star Wars guy. I just looked it up….Jedi Novice or something.

      Reply

    19. I think the people that don’t eat eggs see them as aborted chickens or something. Don’t know.

      Also, moose sausage FTW.

And lol @ eggy for not knowing what a padawan is and never watching Star Wars EVER.

    20. I was just a wee lad when the first one came out…. I watched those three in AWE… the new ones are absolute trash.

    21. I just got back from Costa Rica and the eggs were SOOOOOOOO good. Totally different than the commercially mass produced crap we have here in the states.

    26. Yes, I have. Also, “Mini Pizza Bagels” should not have more than 25 comments. What the christ. ;_;

    27. Did you love it?

It’s less a conversation about bagel bites than us using the bagel bites to have a totally unrelated multi-faceted conversation…

      Ignorance. Whatever.

      Reply

    33. Ignorance is just not knowing something. His comment is perfectly logical. Since at least two of us are ignorant as to why a vegetarian won’t eat eggs or drink milk, can you enlighten us? So that we might be more informed and thus…not igorant.

    34. I would call them a vegan, not a vegetarian. Vegans don’t use or consume anything that came from an animal.

      Reply

    35. That would definitely be a more accurate description of one that wouldn’t eat any dairy. But..why is RSIX then claiming that Hepathos is ignorant?

      Reply

    36. While I AM an ignorant bastard, I’ve still asked a coherent question. And ok, they’re vegans. Still, youu simply can’t get enought vitamins and protein from just plants. That’s why they always take pills and drink protein shakes. Whitch are made from meat and milk, so there you go.

    37. I’m with ya. I just hate when someone’s retort is, “Ignorance. Whatever.”

      Reply

    38. Excuse the confusion and the insult. There are many types of vegetarians. I am a vegan, myself.

Some vegetarians don’t eat meat because they see the health benefits of removing it from their diet.

Other vegetarians don’t eat meat because they have a problem with eating living creatures.

Its the second category that should be hitting themselves for eating cheese and eggs. Its not good for the animals (at least in the mass-market, factory-farm, slaughterhouse sense).

Again, I’m sorry. Pissy mood or whatever.

    39. Makes sense, thanks.

Yeah, there’s a lot to be said for Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm’s method of what he calls “Grass farming”. It’s an old school rotational grazing grass-fed model that is exponentially healtier method of farming…from the dirt on up to us.

If anyone is interested, read “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” by Michael Pollan. GREAT BOOK!
