Striders are much smaller than that. That looks more like a War of the Worlds machine.

I’m going with it being a tripod as well. I wondered why the pic was titled “Half-Life-2-Strider” (it doesn’t help that I’ve never played it, but the first thought that came to my head was War of the Worlds).

That’s a tripod assholes. Don’t be hissin’ H.G. Wells. Also, the movie sucked. But the Tripods looked great.

The Germans had the Tripods ready by early 1944, but they wanted to release it to coincide with their other new invention, the Sturmgewher 44.
