mmm absinth, banned here in ireland but still attainable in the north, although legally you are only supposed to have one shot of it in a 24 hour period up there. still though, nice if you can get it. got loads of the 80% stuff from spain before, quite cheap too.

Indeed it is, just be on the lookout for a lot of… cheap imitations of it. Bizarre things? Then I’d definitely recommend Vampyre, or Pink (It’s the vodka with caffeine – never tried it myself, but heard that it even tastes ok). Or… a T-1 Hooker (basically, you inhale a pinch of salt, and then take a shot of tequila).

I have tried Aftershock (the red one), and I really enjoy it. But I can only do one or two shots of it because it’s wayyy too sweet. One of my friends had the idea of mixing it with apple cider one day…:(

I believe DisAronno (sp?) is on the list too.

I’m also interested in trying bizarre things, too.

Especially Absinthe. Is that stuff legal in Canada?

The style of jungle juice we used to make back in the day consisted of the following:

a garbage can. (metal, cause plastic will melt if you use it for this receipe)
2 gallons of everclear
5 gallons of sterno
3 gallons of gasoline
1 gallon of aftershock
2 gallons of cat piss (to cut the taste of the aftershock)
Mix them all together with 5 cans of Jose’s Colon Blow Chili sauce.
Drink up.
Wake up in a pile of your own waste the following morning in Cabo with no memory of who you are or why you are using a pinata as underwear and oh god there is candy wedged in my asscrack….

the version of “jungle juice” that I know is called “sweet tarts”, get a 2 liter of orange soda, pour out 1/4, put in 2 red kool aids, and 1 purple. Shake up then fill 2 liter with the strongest alcohol you got. Shake it up, then chill it, or pour over ice. cant taste any alcohol and before you know it your spewing your guts in the bathroom/backyard/over a balcony.

A lot of people say smrinoff sucks, but the watermelon twist vodka by them is good.

After shock is the shit, would NEVER get drunk just off of it though, 1-2 shot MAX in a night. Its nice to get the party started, and chicks love it

Well, price is definitely a factor in buying alcohol, but consider the hangover. I usually buy good quality stuff (though rarely do i get my hands on Grey Goose), and although it’s not cheap, guess what? no hangover the next day. That’s a hell of a lot more than I can say for Georgi. I mean, if you’re truly going for cheap and quantity, just make a shitload of jungle juice. Get a few 1.5L bottles of Georgi and 151, mix it with kool-aid and water, and you’ve got yourself something that doesn’t taste is, but can fuck you up.

I love it when people get pretentious about what alcohol they spend too much money on to destroy their brain, liver and kidneys. If you are drinking to get drunk, go cheap. If you are enjoying a fine spirit to compliment a meal, a cigar, a canapÃ©, or on its’ own, do some research and go expensive. If you are just trying to impress people by bragging about “my well stocked bar”, then you can go play a nice long game of hide and go faaack yourself, you wannabe yuppie asshat. How insecure can you get?

as for beer, you need to get Shiner if you like dark, Blue Moon if you like pale ale. my guy friends swear by Guiness. as for liquor, it really doenst matter what brand of vodka you drink, personally i drink it like water. just avoid the really cheap stuff, like McCormicks. I also find you can drink way more and avoid getting sick if you stick to one brand all night. If you switch it up, then you have a problem. Tequila gives everyone the worst hangover/wasted stories, everclear will fuck you up nicely, but its fast. like one minute your sober, thinking it doesnt work, so you drink more…. the next, youre GONE.

from experience, dont get wasted on your 21st. its more fun to get fun-drunk, where youre still happy, or you can remember/enjoy that random hookup. heh.

It’s not my first time drinking, but I do tend to get drunk pretty quickly because I’m small. I just haven’t had much variety. Also, no to the Corona.

I can get through a little less than half a bottle of 151 before I’m done for. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop.

Grey Goose has been recommended to me before. That’s on the top of the list.

I’m not worried about overdoing it, because I’m also getting taken to a strip club.

For a 21st birthday, and you’ve had no drinking experience, don’t overdo it. I mean, you’ll be tempted to, but three reasons why you shouldn’t. One, you’ll feel like hell the next day. Two, it’s a waste of money to drink after you can’t see anymore. Three, you’ll have to buy more.
