Actually, its Wardenclyffe in Long Island, NY which was never finished (as seen here). Unless he tried building one in Colorado too, but I’ve never heard of it.

I saw a play about Tesla. Really strange show. Anyhoo, the play went on about how this thing would contact aliens. The guys that wrote were on crack… So was Tesla, but what genius wasn’t a nutcase?

Marconi was a phony.
And Edison was an arrogant sun of a bitch.

I don’t know which one this is, but I do know he did have a lab in Colorado Springs. It was dismantled and sold off…
After it was figured out that there was no way to control how people got the electricity (and thereby charge for it, the project had the funding cut after successful experiments. Another interesting point, you could collect more power from the transmitter then was transmitted. :0

-A man always has two reasons for doing anything: a good reason and the real reason. J.P. Morgan.
Says the man who cut his funding and black balled tesla’s work once it became apparent his work wasnt just for wireless communication but for aspirations of providing free power to everyone on the planet.
And most of his genius died with him since he didnt make a habit of writing most of it down.
