I happen to like *my* Zune.
Although perhaps that’s because it’s stolen?
(Property of UNSC, you know.)
i wonder how many people saw a zune up close in real life. I didnt care for it, actually i hated it, until woot.com sells it for 150 back then, bought it and I gotta say, it look way better up close than any web pic. The white and pink one are absolutely beautiful. Take a close look in store if you get a chance.
iPod and Zune sucks. Just buy a noname but sturdy MP4 player.
Better yet, get a CD player for 10 bucks, a stack of CDs for three, and burn your own goddamn music.
I think the PSP is the best choice. It does all the music/video stuff and you can play games and browse porn.
CD player sucks big time. I have no place to put it, always stops if you start walking, and the CDs just get scrached like hell.
I have an mp3 player that Verisign sent me for free. Ironically, so far the best one I’ve had, and I had the fortune/misfortune to have used both the Ipod and Zune for my listening needs in the past. Although I gotta say… Zune isn’t all that bad. M$ just failed miserably at making use of the WiFi part of it, that’s the main thing that ticked me off.
How is this proof?
Hepathos is right. I have a noname mp3 player that I’ve had for two years now. It’s never broke, it holds a gig, it’s not a battery whore.
I guess I can’t update my myspace when I’m out of house, but oh well, I guess I’ll just have to wait till I get home to inform the world of my gangsta lifestyle.
I’ve had both an iPod and a Zune, and so far, I like the Zune way better. The only thing that bothers me is the battery issue, but that happened with my iPod, too.
Hepathos, you musta had an incredibly shitty CD player. From the 80’s. I got a cheap one five years ago. Never skips, works good. Just buy a decent player and CD case and you’re good (of course, you can’t have 600 songs to go jog to, but who jogs that long anyways?)
Well, first I don’t have any place to put a CD player when I travel, second, I travel 3 hours a day to school and back, and count the aditional time when I listen to music in the school. A CD player is not enough for me.
I have an older generation iPod that’s lasted 5-6 years, back before video, in black and white and all that jazz. And I’ve dropped it a bunch of times on cement. Hooahh!
I love all the people who are like “Get a PSP, its way better for everything!”
Yeah, the most I’ve found is 2gb of memory, and its huge, I can fit my 30gb Zune comfortably in my pocket.
And yes- they are cool up close. the black ones have a “halo” of sorts of a green-blue color around the entire player if you hold it to light.
