The tchnique used to get that finish is simply buffing THE FUCK out of a base coat of paint. A german tuning company called DTM mastered the process with an Audi A8L for a saudi a few years back, google "chrome audi a8" and youll see it. Seriously though, they simly buff the paint using the finest grade buffier they can. Actually, no chrome was wasted on that.
