I believe Apple landed a pretty sweet product placement deal for the iPhone in this.

    2. Vote -1 Vote +1egnilk66 (UID#573)

Looks good! Pin the brick to the tug….or some shit…

    3. Vote -1 Vote +1Ando (UID#260)

It rocked. Film noir meets Ten Things.

    4. Vote -1 Vote +1maxcw (UID#9)

      what is it about?

    5. Vote -1 Vote +1Ando (UID#260)

It’s a detective story told in a film noir style set in a highschool.
      Weird but utterly brilliant.

    6. Vote -1 Vote +1mAgnUS BUTTfoorson (UID#238)

      Ya that movie kicks ass.

It was made for 400K too which is amazing. It got a limited release last year.

It’s sort of like The Maltese Falcon in terms of the language but with some Twin Peaks aesthetic and a high school setting.

      Oh and I don’t get mellodave’s joke?

      Please explain…

    8. Vote -1 Vote +1redlolita (UID#340)

It gave me a headache. But I guess if you like film noir and high school kids go for it.

    9. Vote -1 Vote +1bob (UID#369)

Good thing there are no good actors in this movie, wouldn’t want their valuable hands scorched by the iPhone.

I don’t get the “scorched hands” comment. You guys are aware that only unlocked by haxxie iphones were bricked then unbricked. Meaning, making your at&t phone a t-mobile phone. nothing to do with hardware. oh and no thanks on the movie.

    11. Vote -1 Vote +1ladyoftheorb (UID#900)

The “scorched hands” thing is about the battery in the iPhone exploding, not about hacking it.

    12. Vote -1 Vote +1Paul_Is_Drunk (UID#796)

It’s a good movie, not great.

It is basically the Maltese Falcon set in high school, but the way they do it is what makes it good.

    13. Vote -1 Vote +1ThatSwankyBrian (UID#670)

      God damn it.

      I hate Apple fanboys.

The brick joke? Clever. Ruining it by being a smacktard saying “You guys are aware that only unlocked blah blah blah” is just dumb. I’d rather read the mindless religious debates that have become the comment thread du jour around here.

OMFG U NO SAY BAD THINGS BOUT APPLE. STEVE JOBS, PLZ HAVE MY BABY.

      Die in a fire.

    14. Vote -1 Vote +1sansbutt (UID#780)

anyone else seen across the universe? that poster looks alot like the one for across the universe

    15. Vote -1 Vote +1egnilk66 (UID#573)

      …. a fire fueled by apple chips….

    16. Vote -1 Vote +1Zendu (UID#769)

Imagine the Maltese falcon crossed with rugrats, and you will understand the level this film is written at. Make sure to toss in some really awkward dialoge!

    17. Vote -1 Vote +1fab (UID#607)

      once you see it.. ?

    18. Vote -1 Vote +1bosephus (UID#1149)

Brick was a great movie. Well, except I had to watch it with subtitles because I didn’t understand what anybody was saying.

    19. Vote -1 Vote +1jormanks (UID#140)

Good movie. I would recomend it. Not a great movie at all, but I’ve watched thrice

    20. Vote -1 Vote +1koopa (UID#1219)

Yes ThatSwankyBrian you got me. I wasn’t trying to simply clarify about the bricked iphones, NO, I’m doing my duty to protect anything this COMPUTER COMPANY does. Yep, you peggged me, I’m just writing this comment on my iphone while I drive my convertible down Hollywood blvd. with a picture of steve jobs hanging from my rearview & the iphone commercial song playing. idiot
