well, seeing as there are 12 pics, I recon they shot one every two hours. You might be right about it being a, and I quote; “rendered scene from a program called terragen”, but I’m pretty sure on my case. Try googling “Torghatten” or “Kjerringoey”. I wont do it myself, cause I’d hate to catch myself being wrong on this :S

@ Denmarkian : You mean summer right?
Sun dont set for a period of time during summer north of the arctic circle, (where I live btw), and in the winter the sun dont rise in the horizon for some period of time.

It is from Norway, it’s a picture of the noon sun once a month throughout the year above the arctic circle. My father has had a poster with that exact image for over 30 years.
