    They’re clones from Jango Fett. They do not age. Clones just disappear.

    Apparently the original army were all clones of Jengo fet but they eventually needed to be replaced.

    What you have there is a plothole. That’s OK, though, Lucas can have as many retarded plotholes as he wants, because he has armies of hundreds of thousands of fanboys willing to retcon his increasingly week narratives, and place him on that same old pedastool, in spite of the fact that it’s them doing all the work at this point.

    Caio is right, like just look at Grievous. he didn’t created him, but the cartoon made him an awesome character, and Lucas fucked all up.

    Grievous WAS much more powerful before Episode III, but Mace Windu crushed his chest cavity in the Clone Wars cartoon series (which are considered canon, by the way).

    That is why he was always coughing and gagging in the Movie.

    They were ALL clones until the Kamino facilities were destroyed, and eventually the numbers dwindled until they felt the need to start recruiting. I want to know if the clone trooper leftovers were kept separate from the recruited ones so as not to freak them out. What’s interesting to me is the pendulum swing of droids-clones-droids-clones that the republic and empire seem to go through. Its almost imperceivable to imagine an army of such magnitude without one or the other, I’d say.

    Vader’s Fist the 501st remained entirely clones until almost all of them blew up along with Death Star 1. I don’t think they numbered in the double digits after that.

    This “Grievous’ chest got crushed” this is so stupid that it only makes me angrier. Dont tell me that a friggin huge cyborg got so mutch weaker from that. But if he, then there’s how he fighted with Obi-wan weeks leater. Pathetic.
    And the Clone army started recruit voluntaries during the III. episode, because thee clone facilities couldn’t produce enought clones to fill up the army. After the fall of the Separatists, Kamino facilities got destroyed, and the remaing clones were scattered around batallions. The Emperor always wanted to use humans (and only humnas,the Empire is pretty racist) as soldiers.

    Man, did George Lucas screw up with the new movies.

    First he makes Han Solo shoot second, minor gripe, but a sign of things to come.

    Then he makes the antagonist army robots! There is no dramatic tension, because they’re fighting toasters!

    But wait, humans are fighting on the other side, and we might have to show actual people dying in our new super-kid-friendly Star Wars universe. I know, let’s make them all clones! It’s almost like being robots!

    I could go off on this forever, the original trilogy consumed my life from ages 5 to 12.
