Unfortunately it’ not the only one of its kind. There are quite a few reports of animals in produce in this months issue of the “ForteanTimes” a magazine dedicated to the weird and paranormal.
Also, In my own personal opinion it cannot be that unlikely for a food packaging company to overlook the ocasional animal; sadly.
On the note of the “ForteanTimes” however I did wonder what the paranormal had to do with frogs in Salad bags.

A couple of times we found (live) tree frogs on our bananas.

I’m always happy when I find caterpillars and the likes when I wash my salad. They are living proof that there’s no anti-insect-poison in there

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather eat non-life-threatening poison that I can’t see, than a regular caterpillar that I can.
