Thanks Jet, I understand their play in the game and that the big guy protects the little sister, but what I'd like to know is... Why does the big daddy protect her, why is she wondering around as she does, what are their roles in the storyline? The Bioshock makers mentioned that it's pretty interesting discovering how they fit into the story, and that's all cool, but I want to know now dammit.

@ BatteryLow

I played the demo of this on Xbox Live Marketplace that came out this week, the Big Daddys protect the Little Daughters. They need to be protected because they carry the syringes full of this red stuff that is like plasma, in the game u have 2 types of weapons, regular guns in ur right hand (pistol, machine gun, wrench) and in ur left u have "plasma" weapons such as a electric shock, fireball fairly cool concept, also at the end of the demo they had more info on the game and it says that u can customize ur weapons and stuff... The demo wasnt nearly as good lookign as the teaser vid that came out this summer, but this game loosk like its going to be fun IMHO...

@AlecDalek

You'll have to understand they are shipping two types of disks. For PC the disk will have both Dx10 and DX9 versions. The 360 does not support DX10 so it will be getting the toned down version.

DX10 gamers will see a marked improvement in graphic quality, effects, and framerate over their DX9 counterparts. DX10 supports marked improvements to shader model levels (also some sound improvements but not as huge as the visual.)

What it boils down to is this:

The water will look cooler on a PC.

Neuromancer, I still don't see what you're saying the PC version will have over the 360.

I agree with you on Crysis.

Suddenly, on second glance at the picture, I'm reminded of Fallout 2.
