    I think I know how this is done.

    There is a layer of glass or plastic above the pool. Above that, is water. There might be another layer over the water as well but I doubt it since they would need the effect over water.

    You can tell in pic 4, 6 and 7, that the water is above them, because the ladder is blurry.
