‘Reign in Blood’, one of the greatest thrash metal albums in history. Much to their credit, after realising the quality and pure awesome of this masterpiece Slayer commented that they wouldn’t produce anything as good again. Amazing to think that a band could actually recognise when it had done its best and not keep plugging their next album as the greatest thing ever. Modesty and true defenders of metal.
