Indeeeed. The more important thing is how do they all compare to the Death Star? They should have a map where it’s the death star, and a bunch of dust off to the side.. You’d be able to distinguish Lexx and the Executor class ship, and a couple others.. but yeah..

I’ve had the Star Trek vs. Star Wars debate with my friends many a time, and they always point out the fact that the Empire’s ships are ENORMOUS. True…but how truly efficient can a 17 km long ship be?! Just getting from one end to the other would be a major undertaking! Nevermind trying to coordinate effors on the Death Star! Still, cool ships on both sides.
Isn’t it nice that the metric system is used intergalactically?

Impossible to compare Star Trek and Star Wars because neither is very realistic.
Consider the Death Star: If your power plant is produces enough energy to overcome the gravitational potential of a planet and literally blow it up, then your wasting your time focusing it into a beam. Why not disperse it into to field effect weapon and have a “laser shot gun” that will take out the whole rebel fleet (even snub fighters)! Then turn around and use the same beam to sterilize the planetary surface.
Star Trek is just never consistent enough to judge. In TOS, its strongly implied that the Enterprise can destroy entire planetary civilizations and routinely time travels. But these capabilities seem to appear/disappear depending on the story.

Also, no halo ships = fail. and no, halo itself is not a ship it’s a planet technically.

The Halo is not a planet because it is not rounded by its own gravity.
reboot: like the half life(2) story(s), halo is very unclear on things. When on the halo, gravity holds you down, but much like earth, while a mile or 2 above ground (or so) gravity will not hold you down.
casemods: I believe the explanation for “gravity” on Halo is that its generated by centrifugal force.
Gravity or centrifugal force, doesn’t matter. One of the defining characteristics of the Halo is that it is not round therefore it is not a planet.
Hint: try clicking on the links and reading the articles that I am linking to. Also I’m pretty sure it’s not a natural body, but I didn’t follow the story much.
