  1. I’m having trouble finding out the point of interest in the picture.

  2. i saw a video on hurricanes for science class a while backed. it was dated circa 1992ish, and this guy was like “New Orleans’ levy system is outdated, and if a hurricane hits there is no reliable pump to remove water from the inside.”
    everyone was all ‘NO WAI!’

  3. Nobody was surprised that it flooded, they were surprised at how piss poor the FEMA/Bush Admin response was. Durrr….

  4. The sad thing is, FEMA and Bush were great. Every piece that failed was on the local level. Every Burro, Township, Town, City, County & State has & had been told that they need to be self sufficient for at least three to five days until a Federal response can be mobilized. America is big, it takes time to get things from Pennsylvania to Louisiana. I know; I was in a HUMMVEE

Bush’s hands were largely tied by the Gov. of LA who refused to allow federal intervention & refused to allow National Guard troops from other States to offer aid. Farther more, units from LA Guard were not activated until well after the fact. The commander and chief of LA’s National Guard never ordered them to duty. She should have gone to jail.

  5. Burros – what do donkeys have to do with anything???

    (Burro = donkey in Spanish…)

    haha – try “borough” maybe

  6. WTF did you THINK was going to happen?
