   I think its got a lot to do with the restrictive laws in Singapore that can land you in jail. More sad than funny in my opinion.

   yeah, i remember one hot asian actress that wore an amazing dress at an awards ceramony was forced to do some public service shit or jail time for shaming her country.

   phj, the ‘loss of control’ reasoning is not exactly why they chose to shame her. Its just how their culture has thrived. Part of it is religious, and part of it is social. Its not like every time a man from Singapore sees a girl wearing a bikini they get an uncontrollable boner, and thusly, how would that make them any less of a man?

   unless you were being crass on purpose which is fine.
