I’ve heard of things happening like this before, but most of them happend about the same time a rotor broke apart from being heat warped and breaking apart, and it would throw chunks of brake rotor through the hood.

I find it highly unlikely that the break pad came from this ford.
I do however find it highly plausible that this break pad came from another ford.
