Huh, no I didn’t actually, I only knew if you assembled at least thirty in a single room, they could shout binary code at 7200 rpm, and would be as equally efficient as a hard drive.

In fact, it’s rumoured that given the right conditions, if you put enough of them in a small space, they will bob up and down in a pattern, which if read correctly (normally using interlaced columns) can be interpreted as the assembly code for an early version of the BBC operating system.
