You can always pick a huntsman because of their weird backwards-slung legs, perfect for going very flat and hiding under tree bark. Generally not aggressive, and not particularly venemous, but a bite from a spider that size is going to hurt like hell, just because of the size of the fangs. Jesus Christ, that's a big spider... We have the huntsman guys here in VA, I occasionally find them in the house. They arent poisonous or anything, so it isnt too big a deal. You really need to catch them in a box and let them go though, because squishing them is disgusting (since they are so big there are lots of guts!)
