    Sublyme, Actually theories can only ever be disproven— they can always be contradicted by new data. That said, evolution, like gravity, is a theory that is unlikely to be disproven in any dramatic way any time soon.

    A common misconception. A scientific Theory doesn’t mean the same as a regular non-scientific theory (just an idea). Please read en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory for enlightenment 🙂

    Actually no scientific theory can ever be fully proven, it’s called falsifiability, and is a central principle of the scientific method… for instance, Newtons theory of gravity has been disproven…in it’s original form. Of course, for everyday use, his equations work just fine.
